Offbeat is working with artists from all over the world who mix the traditional musical style of various cultures around the globe with these western modern beats that we all know.

Smashing borders all the way by blending the organic with the synthetic, the traditional with the experimental, expect an eclectic set filled with different soundscapes, different BPM and different rhythms that will keep surprising you because that's what global bass is all about, a never ending experiment made of textures and grooves arrangements from all over the globe.

IBERIAN JUKE NIGHT 1.0 @ BARTS CLUB (Barcelona) 04/07/15

" Durante el año 2014 algo empezó a cambiar en la escena electrónica nacional, con cada vez más productores y dj’s interesados por el sonido footwork/juke llegado a Europa desde Chicago unos pocos años antes.

Lo que se inició como un grupo en las redes sociales para compartir intereses comunes en la escena, derivó en el lanzamiento a principios del 2015 del recopilatorio Iberian Juke Vol. 1 (http://iberianjuke.bandcamp.com/releases), creado para saciar el hambre de la escena nacional por los 160bpms y el trabajo de pies.

Productores de renombre en nuestro país como Bsn Posse, Skygaze, Mario Nieto, ¥€$Ø, Clima o Sandro Jeeawock participan en este primer volumen ofreciéndonos una interpretación personal de este estilo que cada vez cuenta con más adeptos en la península.
Pero esto no termina aquí; un segundo volumen ya está en preparación y se espera su lanzamiento para después del verano.

Iberian Juke Nights nace como punto de encuentro donde destacados representantes de la escena footwork nacional e internacional se reunirán para dar rienda suelta a los instintos más primitivos de baile, fomentando el trabajo de pies y transportándonos de alguna forma a los guettos de la ciudad del viento.

Para esta noche de estreno contaremos con los embajadores por excelencia del footwork en nuestro país, Bsn Posse. Los malagueños están teniendo un 2015 espectacular que culminará el próximo día 13 de Julio con su debut en formato largo para SlimeRecordings (“Forever”, SLM138). Aparte de participar en el primer recopilatorio con el tema “Never Never”, en los últimos meses el dúo formado por Broken Lip y Stay Puft ha sacado un puñado de remixes en sellos de referencia como Dred Collective, Seclusiasis o Hyperboloid; además de firmar varios mixtapes para algunos de los mejores blogs y podcast a nivel internacional (Interlude de Ashes57, Footwork Jungle, Juke Bounce Werk, Juno Download).

Como acompañantes de lujo al dúo de Al-Andalus en esta noche de estreno tendremos a la rusa A. Fruit, que hace unos meses hacía su debut en Sequel One Records con el EP “Far Out”, en el que la productora integra varios estilos dentro del sonido footwork con gran maestría; y el productor de origen colombiano afincado en Barcelona Aku, que participó en el primer recopilatorio con el tema “Give me some” en colaboración con 7th Sense y que se estrenará próximamente para su sello True Colors Recs con la primera referencia “Lifted EP”.

Completan el cartel Daddy-Panda, Perez, Rumbler y Dbdlr, representantes locales de la escena y miembros del colectivo Ciento Sesenta. "

Off Sonar Party 17 June

Taking place within the Sónar festival week, Delicatessounds is hosting a very special night for all avant-garde sounds fans. 

The style known as footwork/juke, emerged from the ghettos of Chicago two decades ago, is no longer unfamiliar in Spain and the proof is the large number of national quality proposals that have emerged lately, culminating in early 2015 with the release of the first compilation 100% made in the Iberian Peninsula (Iberian Juke Vol. 1). 

For this special night, we will have two of the strongest European names who are pushing forward the scene.

Addison Groove (50Weapons, Tectonic Recordings, Swamp81), well known star of British bass music that last year published in 50 Weapons the acclaimed "Turn up the silence" which paid tribute to the sadly gone DJ Rashad, including a mutual collaboration, the track "U Been Gone".

For this special night, Addison Groove will perform a special two-hour set focusing on the juke sound. 

From Norway, Slick Shoota (Mad Decent, Ball 'Em Up), another European standard of the Chicago sound and whose productions are being played by most of the top footwork dj’s worldwide. 

He has already published for labels like Loose Squares, Apothecary Compositions (Keep bussin 'EP including Addison Groove remix). 

Will complete the night, Perez, Daddy-Panda, Rumbler and Dbdlr, representing the local Ciento Sesenta crew that is hosting 160 parties in the Barcelona province.

Medallion Man is bringing this new Delicast, co-founder of Loose Lips and one of their four residents, alongside Rommek, Silvestre and Juggins.

Loose Lips is a new club night in London, promoting a wide range of engaging electronic music and throwing regular parties in exciting locations around the city, keeping each party unique. 
They also regularly release new music, mixes and illustrations.
