DJ Obsoleto aka El Guajiro de La Costa Brava brings us this very special new summer Delicast.
Ruben Gonzalez is just a groove lover ; from Soul to Afro Beat, from Reggae and Dub to Jazz, Boogaloo or Hip Hop... 
With his alter ego Daddy Panda, he also has a predilection for Electronic music and especially all about Bass Music. Actually focused on Juke/Footwork and all 160 bpm stuff, he is since 2014 member of CIENTOSESENTA, a Juke/Footwork Crew based in Barcelona and also part of the IBERIAN JUKE FAM.

We had the pleasure to have him warming up our "Ghetto Off Night" with Addison Groove and Slick Shoota last year at our Off Sonar party.

With SALMONETES AHUMADOS HI FI Team, is founder and co-owner of the COSTA BRAVA REGGAE FEST, a Bass Culture Festival In Lloret de Mar - Spain since 2008.

Stayhigh - Kush, Rhodes & 808's EP - PATA NEGRA

"After a few self-released tunes and a collaborative EP with BSN Posse for the british label Modern Ruin Records, Stayhigh makes his long awaited solo debut appearance with "Kush, Rhodes & 808's", the third official reference for the Iberian Juke label. In this release Stayhigh makes use of all his influences to show us a personal reinterpretation of the Chicago footwork sound.

The first track, "O.F.R." is a tribute to DJ Rashad, the biggest reference of Chicago footwork. "Turn Up" is a subtle example of his techno influences, with a rhodes piano close to the classic Detroit sound. "Don't U Worry" and "Anything Is Possible" represent a positive message of personal overcoming for the difficult times we are facing right now. With "Look Around" he wants to criticize a sector of today’s hypocrite and racist society, making use of a break sound that at times reminds us of the 90’s old-skool jungle. "Keep the Drug$" provides a fresh touch to the EP.

Six tracks that allow us to glimpse a very promising future for this young producer, who has already gained attention from some big names like Fracture, Ivy Lab, Alix Perez or Daedelus amongst others"

“Kush, Rhodes & 808’s” will be out in Bandcamp on June 16th and on June 21st in all remaining major digital distribution platforms.

Jef T-Scale - Delicast 014

New Delicast mixed by the newest Loose Lips resident, T-Scale who comes from Liege, Belgium, where he started experimenting with audio editors and sequencers since his early teens. 
He's been active on the local scene since 98, involved with several collectives and with a now defunct band, Urban Toonz, where he provided beats and processing sounds through homemade digital effects. During those years, he played alongside internationally acclaimed DJs and live acts such as Murderbot, Ital Tek, Subjex, Exillon, Milanese, Boxcutter, Noize Creator and more.

Now based in London, Jef focuses on his main project called Sine Labs, in collaboration with a metaphysical entity known as Barry Convex, diving into the deep realms of Bass Music, Industrial, Ambient, Techno and Electronica through sound experiments and field recordings. As a DJ, T-Scale isn't bound to any particular genre and explores the whole spectrum of Music, without any compromises.
